1. Acceptance of these terms

geervanee.com is Geervanee's live-classes learning platform, presented by Geervanee Educational Services LLP ("Geervanee", "we", "us"). Geervanee Educational Services LLP also owns and operates geervanee.in and the Saṃskṛtasaṃsad mobile and web app ("Samskrta Samsad"). By creating a Geervanee ID or using geervanee.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These are shared, single documents that apply across all of Geervanee's properties — geervanee.com, geervanee.in, and the Saṃskṛtasaṃsad app. If you don't agree, please don't use any Geervanee property.

2. Who can use Geervanee's properties

Geervanee's properties are intended for users aged 8 and above.

• If you are 18 or older, you must be able to form a binding contract to use them, and you agree to these Terms yourself.
• If you are between 8 and 17, a parent or guardian must verify their own phone number and give consent before your account can be created — see our Privacy Policy Section 7. Your parent or guardian is agreeing to these Terms on your behalf.
• Users under 8 may not use Geervanee's properties.

Submitting a Contact or Saṃskṛtabhāratam institutional enquiry form on geervanee.in doesn't require a Geervanee ID — anyone may use those forms. You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit, and information you provide through them is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your Geervanee ID — one account, everywhere

Geervanee uses a single central account ("Geervanee ID"), authenticated via Google, Apple, or mobile number verification, that works across geervanee.com (including franchise sites), geervanee.in, and the Saṃskṛtasaṃsad app. You do not create separate accounts on each platform.

• Every Geervanee ID needs a verified phone number, regardless of which method you used to sign up. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you'll be asked to verify one by OTP before you can use your account — it's how we reach you about your courses, keep your account secure, and let you delete your account by OTP later if you choose to.
• Signing in on any one Geervanee property can sign you in automatically on the others, without re-entering your details.
• Some Geervanee properties may auto-create a linked account on your behalf (for example, a learning-platform account on geervanee.com) using your Geervanee ID — this is expected and part of how the single sign-in experience works.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Roles and permissions

Depending on your role — Learner, Contributor, Admin, or Super Admin — you may have different abilities across Geervanee's properties (for example, posting educational content on geervanee.in's Fun with Sanskrit or Treatise sections, moderating reports, or hosting Live Rooms on the App). Roles are granted by an Admin or Super Admin and can be changed or revoked at their discretion, consistent with each property's permission rules.

5. Courses, subscriptions & franchises

Courses — and all course payments — are on geervanee.com. Courses on geervanee.com may be offered directly by Geervanee or by an independent franchise operating under a Geervanee-branded subdomain. Regardless of which domain you register or pay on, Geervanee collects your course fees directly and is accountable for course delivery — contact us for details on raising a concern about any course, including franchise-delivered ones.

The Saṃskṛtasaṃsad app subscription (if applicable) is billed separately through Apple's App Store or Google Play, and is entirely independent of any geervanee.com course purchase.

6. Content you post

• You keep ownership of the content you post (e.g. a comment, a game attempt, or — on the App — questions, answers, forum replies, group messages, uploaded images/PDFs/videos), but you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute it as intended by that property's features.
• You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post whatever you post, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
• We may remove content, or restrict/suspend an account, that violates these Terms, is reported and found to violate our content standards, or that we're required to act on by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes someone else's intellectual property.
• Use any Geervanee property, in any way, in connection with human trafficking, the sale or facilitation of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, terrorism or terrorist activity, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving a minor. These are treated as zero-tolerance violations: we will remove the content, terminate the account, preserve the relevant data for as long as required for an investigation, and report the matter to the appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authority, including the National Crime Records Bureau's CSAM reporting channel where applicable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
• Use Geervanee's properties to send spam or unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of a Geervanee property, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access a Geervanee property outside of its normal user-facing features.

8. Intellectual property

Course content, curriculum, recordings, and Geervanee's branding remain the property of Geervanee Educational Services LLP (or, where applicable, the contributing franchise/instructor under license to Geervanee). Live class recordings and course materials are for your personal learning use — redistribution without permission is prohibited.

9. Termination

You have two ways to stop using Geervanee's properties — see our Privacy Policy Section 5 for the full detail:

• Dismiss (deactivate) your account — instant and fully reversible. Nothing is deleted; sign back in anytime to reactivate exactly where you left off.
• Delete your account — your sign-in is disabled immediately, so you lose access to every Geervanee property. Your data is retained for 90 days (for security, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes). Reactivating within those 90 days is self-service — verify the phone/guardian phone on file by OTP, available starting 7 days after your request — and leaves everything exactly as it was, including any course enrollment or subscription. Only if you don't reactivate within 90 days does the deletion become final: your data is permanently erased, your subscription or enrollment is lost, and regaining access later means enrolling or subscribing again.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms — including Section 7's zero-tolerance items — engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required by law.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Geervanee's properties are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of them, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Geervanee's properties is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Effective date" above and, where required, ask for your fresh consent.
